The camera takes in a desert landscape until reaching a town with empty streets, before returning again to the desert, therefore undergoing a silent description of the western landscape. As in the series of self-titled photographs, here landscapes and decors are used by Leone in the Dollars Trilogy. Natural and artificial elements go hand in hand in this simulacrum of the American territory, a trompe l’oeil that Belinchón does not expect to unmask but simply to confirm.
